Grand Piano Bench Buying - Picking a Bench to Suit Your Grand Piano

When you have a grand piano, this should always be accompanied by a high quality grand piano bench. This will ensure that you are comfortable and relaxed while enjoying your musical experience. You will find different heights to match a player's demands at all skill levels and body size. In most cases a piano bench will be made from wood, but will also find other materials. When it comes to picking a bench to suit your grand piano, this will be based on your personal taste and requirements.

The non-adjustable bench will be similar to the regular ones. Quite often, these are basic rectangular shaped furniture with four legs in elegant style which can be custom made to fit the height of the piano player. The are sold under such descriptions as common, duet, traditional piano benches and are usually OEM equipment with many older grand pianos.

An adjustable bench will come with a circular knob that will allow you to adjust the height to the right position to improve your technique and overall comfort. All of these styles appear to have some of the best features. Often times, these are called concert piano bench with soft plush cushioned seats, which is a unique feature.

Another type is the piano stool and this is regarded as a vintage design. This bench has three long legs which have actually become a trademark and a standard look of a piano seat. You will generally see this piano bench style in musical shows exhibiting period instruments. The piano stool was sold as OEM equipment with many upright pianos built in the 1920's.

You can find another type of grand piano bench, which is the double bench to accommodate two players sitting side by side. This is the preferred choice for most performers and educators because it will allow two players to sit comfortably at one piano. The pianists who play with four hand sheet music will need this double bench style. With this bench, players can adjust the seating separately to get the right position based on their height and size. Some of these benches come with music compartment along with hinged seat for convenient storage.

A few things that you should consider:

Before choosing a piano bench, you should think about how you will use it and then pick the ideal one to suit your requirements. Virtually all the digital and acoustic grand pianos will have pretty much the same height keyboard, so all the models should work properly for your piano.

Specific models will be more suitable in certain settings and might fit your purposes much better. As an example, the adjustable bench will be best suited for periodic use whilst a cushioned bench is often more helpful when you plan to use it for extended hours.

Finally, before making a selection you should ensure that you are selecting a grand piano bench that will complement the other decor at home. You should also check to see if you are getting a good wooden finish and the right color cushion.

Listen To Rap Beats - The Art Of Picking The Perfect Beat

Ahhhhh, the never-ending hunt for the perfect beat. You know as crazy as this is going to sound, your most likely not ever gonna find the perfect beat. This is really only because after hearing it over and over your gonna get tired of it and then the never-ending hunt for the mysterious perfect beat starts all over again.

The Magical Feeling

Where the art of picking comes in, is in the first few times you hear the beat. The beat has to hit you where your like "ooo snap hold up this one right here..." This is critical right here. If it doesn't absolutely scream at you like "you need to use me!", then you shouldn't write to it.

It's something that can't really be put into words, but it's more like a feeling you get. It's very hard to explain but you'll know it when you feel it. It's similar to when you hear a new song and your like "oh this is my jammmm!"

When your picking beats it's not absolutely NECESSARY for it to be the best quality as far as mixing goes. But as long as the beat is laid out right and your REALLY feelin' it then it can be turned into a hit plain and simple.

Other Things To Listen For

1) Catchy melodies - The reason you want catchy melodies should be pretty obvious because If someone can remember the melody then they'll repeat it in there head and it will cause them to like the song.

If your not sure whether the melody is catchy or not simply see if you can easily hum along to it. If you have no problem humming or whistling along to it then you've most likely got yourself a catchy melody.

2) Bangin' drums - While this isn't necessary for every song, most of the time what gives the beat a hip hop or rap feel is the drums. If they're not hitting hard and making your head nod with the stanky face on it, then they better have one hell of a melody to make up for it. But seriously those drums have GOT to hit hard.

3) Good sound choice - A lot of the times beginner producers will throw sounds on top of sounds that sound terrible and just make no sense together. Usually you can spot this because the melodies will be very hard to listen to, it will sound like 2 different songs playing at once. The sounds they choose and the key they place the sounds in is very important, all the sounds need to blend together.

I got plenty of beats that meet these 3 things above but the most important part that I mentioned is that "feeling". If you want to go listen to rap beats you can go through some of my beats and see if you find some that your feeling just visit HowToBuyBeats.com
